Green Bay, Wisconsin

Project Type:

Project Overview

Spring of 2002 was the opening date at the Fox Meyer Theater. This theater underwent a major restoration effort and an addition to this 1920’s atmospheric movie theater has been applied. Mr. Pfaller was hired by the City of Green Bay to provide comprehensive architectural services for the conversion of this 1400 seat movie house into a viable, working legitimate theater with a capacity of 1000. The Fox has retrofitted and enlarged lobbies as well as a restored interior and a new addition, which will double the stage size and include new dressing rooms, mechanical and storage spaces, and theater offices. This $6,000,000 restoration and renovation will showcase the cities dedication to the cultural arts.
