Great Lakes Naval Base

Mr. Pfaller acted as a consultant to the Navy to observe and assure construction contract conformance on the restoration of two National Register Buildings located on the Great Lakes Naval Base. Building No. 4, originally built as a drill hall, went through an extensive $2 million exterior restoration. The project involved rebuilding parapet walls, repairing and restoring terra cotta, replacing windows and doors, and re-roofing the 40,000sf structure. Mr. Pfaller was also hired to oversee the restoration of the masonry and terra cotta on Building No. 3 on the Great Lakes Campus and also worked on the restoration of Building No. 1.
